Wood firing creates amazing variation across the piece, as the wood ash melts glass at 2400 degrees, and deposits across the work as the flame moves through the kiln.  These are absolutely one-of-a-kind depending on the location in the kiln.  Truly better in person, very difficult to photograph the metallic and iridescent surfaces!!
