I have been following the work of Forest Ceramic for a while, and was thrilled to have been able to purchase a piece. It is stunning in person, creative, fun, and very high quality. It's a cup / glass - but I am using it as a vase. Absolutely love it.
Simply gorgeous and smooth.
Went out of our way to stop in the store during our weekend visit to Seattle and it was well worth it. The pieces are so interesting, as is the process used to make them. Since we were flying home that afternoon, we couldn't purchase anything too big, but did grab a couple smaller items ... for now!
I gave my son a gift of your storm strata soup bowls. He said they were really cool and he loved them. A functional piece of art. He took me to Orcas Island when I visited this Summer. They mean something extra special to us.
